Privacy
There are no accounts and no database. Your family tree lives in your own browser.
What is stored on your device
The family tree maker, genogram maker and pedigree chart save your work in your browser’s localStorage so it is still there when you come back: names, dates, notes, photos you add (resized to small thumbnails), and the template you chose. This data never leaves your device unless you download or share a file yourself. Clearing your browser data, or the button below, deletes it.
The “Describe with AI” helper
If you choose to use it, the text you type is sent once to our server and on to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to turn it into a tree. We don’t store the text or the result. Avoid including sensitive details you wouldn’t want processed by a third-party AI provider. Nothing else — not your saved tree, not your photos — is sent.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and does not collect personal data.
